For people that are looking for an inexpensive way to start their Red addiction, they have 1/2″ compact m18 drill/driver for $79. I have now seen it in two stores. I think they normally are $99. And they only come with one compact battery and the multi charger.
But it’s not a bad price.

Not a bad deal at all it would be awesome if it came with 2 batteries though
I imagine it comes with the single platform charger and not the dual charger…..then again its a good starter at that price

I couldn’t agree more with you, however in my case I too am just a hobbyist BUT I am currently rebuilding my entire 1850sqft house room by room and doing everything from the studs out new everything…..I have saved thousands already and I’m only on room 4. because I am doing it all myself I figure may as well have the contractor grade tools to do it……

Shuutr, funny that. That’s a nice deal for you but looking at the machine next to the Fuel M12 drills is funny. That’s a really nice compact powerhouse not much bigger than the M12!
