Lol don’t forget it has a man’s auxiliary handle or you could end up a man with a broken wrist with all that power!
Congrats on the purchase TO, money well spent.

If you are working with a bit that will likely grab, Try putting it in screw mode and turning the clutch to the highest setting. The clutch will slip when the bit grabs and not tear your arm off.
Thankd for the tip manC Harris wrote:

No problem. I figured that one out the hard way.
Cool looking drill!!
I have to get my hands on one of these new powerhouses. I have to feel the power for myself it’s almost too good to be true

This is a great tip C Harris! Thanks man.
I agree with everything you say hahah is it bad that when i see someone with a dewalt 12v or even there 20v i got “awww thats a cute drill” hahah even the m12 not bashing milwaukee because those drills have a purpose just not for my tool box lolPROTOOLNUT wrote:
You are just like me, we have the need for power. There is nothing more we hate then when we go to do a job and the drill stalls out cause its wimpier then shit. When I say power, I mean power, and thats what I want, and thats what I will have. That is why I bought the 2604. I aint screwing around, I mean business, and I like a tool that means business. Thats why I say, give the little 12 volt to the wife, cause you only need that for inside the house anyways. But you doing big jobs outside, you better have a 18 volt or better. And yes I also agree, use the side handle when applying all that power.

man it looks like a dang transformer bro!
i like Bosch Active Response Technology in the drills. they wont break your wrist 😛
Yeah I wouldn’t even pick that thing up when armed with a hole saw without the side handle 😉 Also that’s a great tip about using the screw mode’s clutch, not a bad habit to get into using especially when up on a ladder.
Awesome drill man 🙂 very awesome. So much RAW power in there !

I just found a half dozen of my aux handles in a bucket… All brand new, never used.

Love that drill. Bad ass man!
Get the 6.5 BL circ saw. You won’t regret it.. excellent saw
Yeah that drill is mean looking! Can’t wait to see it against Milwaukee’s Gen 2 Fuel one of these days.
a few tool guys i know told me millwaukee has a tendency to big up there stats on paper its say it has more torque and power but in reality the makita is still more powerfull and has more torque but thats what they said im not sure if its true or not but i agree a real tool fight between the 2 would be great to see i mean millwaukee is great and on top and so is makita really they are the top 2bothuhead19 wrote:

Wouldn’t doubt this at all, most companies do this. Kinda reminds me of the 20v vs 18v thing.
Looks like a beast! Enjoy it!
In all honesty Milwaukee’s own runtime tests for the fuel circ saw on the 2014 symposium also proved a big pile of bullcrap.
The shorter handle is abit strange. Everyone who has used the Makita drill can confirm that when that powerhouse binds up you will be happy to have the large size side handle.
If the 1200 pound Milwaukee binds up and you only have a shorter side handle. A good way to injure yourself.
Time will tell when the real life comparison videos appear !
Ya the makita 6 1/2″ circ saw i have witnessed on a tool fight beat the millwaukee and i also saw the makita keep up with a bosch worm drive like ypu would think the worm drive would have killed it but the makita kept up so closekornomaniac wrote:

The Makita 2x18volt battery brushless circ saw is what you’re talking about? Or a different one? The one with the twin batteries from what I’ve seen does kick some serious ass.torontotoolman wrote:

No the 2x18v the 36v is 7 1/4″ and blade on right like a reg sidewinder but it does have some nice power but its not brushless… the makita 18v 6 1/2″ is what im taking about it is brushless and is one of the most powerful.cordless circ saws outBremon wrote:
