So, I’m hoping to find someone with the individual sets of the DeWalt mechanics tools that wouldn’t mind maybe selling me the cases.
I have all the tools, but I bought them all as one large set, in a single large kit box… The thing is great, but horribly unwieldy.
I really don’t want to have to repurchase all of the tools, just to get the cases. Especially since the individual sets are so much more expensive than the whole set.
Or, if anyone knows how i could order the cases, direct from DeWalt, that would be ideal. I’ve been searching for days, and no luck. And, nobody carries them, locally.

Maybe you could buy some generic case and make custom inserts using Kaizen Foam from FastCap. just a suggestion but I hope you find what your looking for

You might want to try Dewalt’s part site.http://servicenet.dewalt.com/ You might also want to try ebay. I don’t know how economical it will be to buy the individual cases like that though.
Like DR said ebay is usually a good place to find things like that but you have to stay persistent. I’ve ordered a couple hard cases and a couple tool bags off ebay and usually you get them really cheap.

I’ve tried DeWalt’s parts site, and can’t find anything. Though, it is exceptionally possible I’m not searching for the right keywords, or something.
Same with eBay.
I’m keeping my eyes open.
Buying different cases, and customizing with Kaizen foam had occurred to me, but the cost is actually pretty close to just buying the sets…
