Does anyone know if the 2712 fits in the same case as the 2717?
Correction will it fit in the same case as the 2715.

No, they are separate cases (we make sure the inner half fits the tool and all accessories closely).
2712 case is 42-55-0085
2715 case is 42-55-2715
(note that the -22DE kits with the dedicated dust extractors have larger and different cases)

I had found a case for the 2715. I’m glad I waited before buying it.
Any idea where on might find a case for the 2712-22DE?
I believe the number for the case is 42-55-0095.
Just can’t seem to find one

I’ve been watching eBay ever since I started this thread. I haven’t been able to find one either.
Yeah I’ve been looking around for a couple months now, just never knew the number for it till just a little bit ago.
May be something that’ll require calling Milwaukee.

Welp…that’s because we didn’t order them and have none in stock. That’s being fixed now.
Are you using the 2712-DE? How do you like it?
Yeah I had order the 2712 as just a bare tool probably 6 months ago. Man I love it, it’s light weight and packs a punch. Using it over head a lot here recently I went ahead and got the dust extracter for it, which is a great addition to to the tool. But being a tool I don’t using daily I just wish I had the case for both of them.
