That hitatchi miter saw looked badass i really want the compact miter i seen it at lowes for 175$ thats a great price for a great brand thats on my tool list for sure

Yea it looks like a really nice miter saw. I like the slide system as you can have the saw against the wall if you want.

It is just added to my Amazon wish list. Very cool saw. I have used a few Hitachi saws over the years and every one was a great performer.

Ya im not a big miter saw guy i can make all my cuts with my skilsaw but it would be still a great tool to have you nevet know when you will need one

it’s a needed tool for trim and I always find myself doing trim jobs.

Same with Jason. There just some stuff that the miter can do that is just a pain in the butt to do without. That Hitachi 12″ sliding dual was on the shortlist prior to the Kapex. I was thinking Dewalt had me nuts though great saw. I like the dual slide capability of the Hitachi. I read some complaints on casting issues with the Hitachi for the actual table with cracks showing up after light use but I think it may have been arp diction run issue.

I have the 12 inch sliding miter saw and it is a beast i really like the slide system since i have a basement wood shop and have it up against the wall. the adjustable laser is really nice as well. The dust collection on it is pretty good when hooked up to a vac. I would highly recommend the 12 siding miter saw.

I’m loving the slide system. The problem I have with my Kobalt slider is that the footprint is too large due to the standard sliding system. The adjustable laser is awesome as well.

I picked up the 10″ saw a few months ago and couldn’t be happier. Would love to have gotten a slide saw but trying to keep the space down.
