and they didn’t even list the new air finish nailers…

hope to see that coil siding nailer upgraded to a cordless one…

although this air nailer might replace my Max CN565 when they are up on ebay.

I heard some things about a 20V roofing gun and a 20V siding gun last year sometime. They’re also supposed to be coming out with a joist hanger gun that shoots pins into Simpson ties and joist hangers.

DR99Member since Nov 2012

A positive placement nailer would be huge. That’s what they call the nailer that is used on hangers and straps. Paslode used to make an impulse nailer that did that but they discontinued it. I don’t get that as that’s when I would really want a cordless nailer is on those kind of tasks.

Like to get the dw66c nailer. I have few projects for that one

@KWC

what markets ?

Hi

as stated above, I took the listing from the Dewalt.com site = USA

Europe market is different

I know for a fact that Germany will NOT introduce any air tools in 2015

For UK I only know of two air nailers (but my info is not completre on this country)

please comment on this list below what nailers/products will be available in Denmark and if you know what other EU country

e.g. Belgium

so after each product line just state the countries that item will be avail

  • DWMC150 Metal connector nailer
  • DW325C15 Degree Coil Framing Nailer
  • DW325PT 30 Degree Paper Tape Framing Nailer
  • DW325PL 21 Degree Plastic Collated Framing Nailer
  • DWSL18CAP Cap Stapler
  • DW450S2 Wide Crown Lathing Stapler
  • DW66C-1 15° Coil Siding and Fencing Nailer

hahaha, Mike desperately trying to convince KWC to drop the ball on new products 😀

give it up Mike, he won’t tell 😉

midogrumpyMember since Jan 2010

no not really

no bad intention

he just seems to “speak for his location/country”

so all I want to know is what products listed above will be available in Denmarnot “new/any secrets”

2)

Just found the Q2 brochure for Denmark

only two (3) nailers listed; no compressors

  • DPN9033
  • DPN9033SM
  • DPN1850

so even nothing from the list above / all items seem to be USA specific

KWC, I need some help. I am about to buy the DW66C-1 coil siding nailer from eBay. However, that yellow dude on my shoulder wants to know if I should hold on to my money for a cordless model. So what’s your advice…buy or wait…

Hopefully, the answer is to wait. I saw a prototype last August that was supposedly getting close to release.

Kenneth DenmarkMember since Jun 2014

The question is how long can you want..

But if it was me I will buy

Mr. YellowMember since Jan 2011

Months. I can wait months. But let’s say till the end of this year…

Kenneth DenmarkMember since Jun 2014

Buy..

Mr. YellowMember since Jan 2011

damn! 😉

Mr. YellowMember since Jan 2011

Aah, when did that appear… last week it wasn’t there yet.

I’m from Holland. This makes it much easier, but also a bit more expensive. However, I couldn’t get it from ebay. The auction stated international shipping, but the seller said it was only for USA.

I will turn to my local dealer instead now. cheers man! 🙂

midogrumpyMember since Jan 2010

@ KWC

is the pdf document available yet ?

can you share ?

thx

I was looking at these DeWalt nailers at Home Depot. They look very close to their Bostitch cousins. The 15ga even has the same blower and jam latch release. The handle vent and smart point is just like the bostitch nailers. I wander how much was changed besides the name.

RickyMcGrathMember since Oct 2014

They’re all Stanley Black & Decker companies. So I’m sure design and technology is shared across the board.

Mr. YellowMember since Jan 2011

Got the siding nailer in today 🙂

I like it over the Max CN565S I am using for several years now. The only disadvantage to the DeWALT is that it doesn’t take conical coil nails. Only flat, whereas the Max will accept both. The gun is smaller, and fits nicer in my hand. Weight is about the same.

The Max gun was the last non-DeWALT power/airtool in my van. I’m officially all yellow now  B)

Just wondering if DeWALT is doing anything with high pressure nailers and compressors…

Max has them as well as Makita, but they didn’t seem to catch on.

20bar vs 8 bar. Makes for even lighter nailers…

DR99Member since Nov 2012

I doubt you will see high pressure tools from Dewalt. They saw how flat the Makita launch went in the usa. Same thing with the Max HP stuff its niche level at best. The prices are just too high when the compressor costs $1600 your not going to have too many contractors signing up. I hate to say it but a good chunk of contractors don’t want the best tool but the cheapest. http://www.toolbarn.com/brands/maxtools/
