I have a problem with Hitachi DV18DMR 18 volt Hammer Drill, gearbox not going forwards when switched to low speed, but it will work in reverse on low speed and will work in forward and reverse in high speed
It has to be something with the gearing. These are pretty good drills. Has it been under a lot of load or is this something you have been using on and off and the problem just stared to happen? Is it still under warrenty? It just sounds like the clutch is not engaging. I have not idea what is inside if you take it apart.
