Now UR not wrong at all DR I got that same email and saw that they’ve been the same price b4 this supposed pro deal I thought the makita gold bits were gonna be even cheaper but there that price everyday…

DR99Member since Nov 2012

I think the Dewalt drill and impact kit was actually on the expensive side I though I saw it cheaper elsewhere. I also thought the M12 drill was $99 for the longest time? Some of the other items don’t even list a discount! You better off with a free battery/baretool deal!

I chuckled and hit the trash can tab on my 6+ while belting out a round of nirvana and slapping my be-hotch mag into my 20v nail gun while wearing my hat flat brimmed and sideways looking at my home girl in da mirra

ChrisKMember since Dec 2012

Wooops!!!! Sorry I went all gang land on HD. Seriously that was a crap deal and was deeply offended at the email. I may have cried a little but I won’t admit to it;)

madman_usMember since Sep 2014

yeah i laughed when i saw the mail – nothing special at all

DR99Member since Nov 2012

They made it sound like this was the best sale ever!! Like never before seen prices.

ChrisKMember since Dec 2012

I like the $99 3.0 amp battery. That’s the same price it was four years ago.

madman_usMember since Sep 2014

ya definitely a joke from them

The fact that a 3.0 amp battery is being advertised is sad.

Have to really be patient to get a deal at Home Depot. Lucky too. Kind of being there at the right time.

DR99Member since Nov 2012

The HD deal of the day’s can be pretty awesome and sometimes the pro deal of the week is good but this thing is a huge wtf. Lowes is kinda lame when it comes to deals for the most part. Also the fact they don’t stock Milwaukee hurts my interest in buying tools from them.

DPSEliasMember since Mar 2014

Does lowes even do deals? if they do they are a lot harder to find, I agree about these “deals” they aren’t much of a deal, I was looking at that Makita combo SDS grinder last week and the price is the same.

The HD Deal of the Day is where it’s at, some days I am kicking myself for not jumping on them but they also help drain the wallet….

DR99Member since Nov 2012

Lowes did a deal of the day for a short period of time but didn’t continue it. It lasted like 3/4 months a year or two ago.

ChrisKMember since Dec 2012

I haven’t seen Lowes do any in a long time. Not sure what’s going on over there.

DR99Member since Nov 2012

Lowes is kinda lost at the moment they can’t decide if they are a place where builders ship or all about interior design. They also need to promote a tool brand harder Home Depot has better exclusive brands for the most part and better deals with free tools and such.

chadlanthierMember since Mar 2013

They will find a sucker who thinks its a great deal. Mark up and then mark it down and call it a great deal. All the same.

You DA MAN ChrisK

BrienMember since Dec 2013

The HD pro deal is a joke. I’m so pissed I didn’t jump on the toolnut Dewalt 5.0 battery deal. Now that was a real deal.

DR99Member since Nov 2012

The only thing I would buy on that entire page would be the Dewalt max fit bit set that’s not a horrible deal.

ChrisKMember since Dec 2012

The Makita impact bits would be mine but they are regular price.

BigmikezMember since Jun 2013

Me 2 bro they work great and last long man. If they would go down a lil more I’m all over them 2!

madman_usMember since Sep 2014

i never tried out the makita ones, but one day they will be on sale and i get them

DR99Member since Nov 2012

The Milwaukee shockwave at least the Phillips tips I would only use if they were free. Sorry big red but you Phillips impact rated bits suck.

DPSEliasMember since Mar 2014

DR I am glad I am not the only one who had a horrible experience with the shockwave bits, I bought them to help a bud finish his basement and broke 2 bits within hours, I was less than impressed, My favorite are the Dewalt Black impact ready bits….I have some Makita’s to try, I’m interested in Yellow’s new torq bits but I have to many bits thanks to lowes and HD dewalt bit set package deals.

madman_usMember since Sep 2014

received another mail today for the Pro Event lol, still nothing changed haha

I have bit set buying addiction if a see the word sale it will end up in the shopping cart more than likely. I just like having access to bits all the time and not having to dig around for them.

BigmikezMember since Jun 2013

Hey it’s better to have them then need them and not havem.

ChrisKMember since Dec 2012

True Mike very true. I’m liking my Dewalt bits but I wish I got the impact ready ones. No problems, just wished I went that route.
