Great radio……..yes I am a DeWalt fan boy but this may be the best “Tool” to get you motivated……blue tooth works flawlessly and the sound is as good as some Bose system I have.

I did have one hiccup with it today. I turned it on and went to turn it up and it wasn’t very loud. Popped the battery out and it was all good. Hopefully it is just a fluke.

how does the ac plug hook up ?
On the back of the radio there is a hole for the ac plug. It’s covered by a rubber flap when not in use. When not using it there’s a place for the cord inside the top of the radio.
It’s good that there’s not a lead floating around when you don’t need it
The Bluetooth pairs really easy, I’ve had mine running off the battery while in the rack , not tried charging my phone off it yet , the cubbyhole is good for keeping iPod/phone safe while playing / charging
All in all I’m well impressed

Possible. Not likely. I didn’t check the battery, but it was fine after I put the same battery back in and turned it on. It then ran for a solid 4+ hours straight while I did some work outside.
Reception is so much better. I had my other radio next to it. Both on DAB+. The Toughsystem played fine while the DCR017 didn’t pick up any signal. Even FM. Same station. Toughsystem playing fine, DCR all noisy.
Everytime I turn it on it’s a joy to listen to. Sold my DCR. Gonna miss the outlets. They always came in handy.

I had mine on for about 9hrs today on a 4ah battery , not sure what’s left in it
I also had 2 chargers sat on top , my old radio would crackle with them next to it , this one didn’t miss a beat , as you say mr yellow , a joy to listen to 🙂 , I’m well happy I got mine

I have 5.0 in there but haven’t tested the runtime yet. Monday I will take it to the job now that my DCR is gone
