Hi all,
I’m a German student and I’m writing my bachelor degree work about the repair services of the different power tool manufacturers (DeWalt, Rigid, Hilti, Festool, Craftsman, etc.) in the USA. I try to figure out what tool manufacturer offers the best repair service.
Do you have any experiences with the repair services of power tool manufacturers? And do you have a couple minutes to complete a questionaire about your experiences?

Most manufacturers do not do tool repair unless under warrenty. A lot of the manufacturers will have you take the tool to a local repair shop to get the work done.
