Could you use a drywall cutout tool as a rotary tool? Using any 1/8″ or 1/4″ accessories like grinding stones or cut off wheels etc… specifically the dewalt 20v
Never used one so I don’t know if they would have enough power
John, first off welcome to the forum. If your asking about using a dedicated drywall tool to act like a Dremel type rotary tool I don’t imagine there is anything preventing that but….that is a lot of power coursing through that machine. One could argue you could use one as a bastardized router too but…
But truthfully like you, I have never tried to do that. I’ve got a rotary tool and (thanks Dan and Eric) a Rotozip so there would never really be a feasible time for me to do so.
the rotozip is awesome for drywall work, but I have no clue if you can attach things like for a dremel.
oh and welcome bro to the forum
