Wow. Now THAT is pretty cool. Have to admit after watching Woodstockva’s review of the Makita I felt a little left behind.
Don’t have any Milwaukee tools, but I was drooling and I thought others would be to.
These are supposed to start shipping Mid-January…..they will charge 3 batteries at a time & they upped the amps, so they will charge faster. I am not sure what they brought the levels up to yet, but currently Milwaukee chargers put out 3amps….I assume they went to 4 or 5. Keep in mind the Makita though is still pumping out 9 amps (PER PORT), so no other chargers are going to touch them with speed.

They say time is money, so I guess the price isn’t that bad. Know if only it was Dewalt we I would be all set.

Crap, why does stuff have to come out all at once? The Makita impact driver I’ve ogling is supposed to come out about he same time! Argh!
Lets hope DeWalt hops on this band wagon too.
$169? Hrmmm… I’d love to get it to replace the 3 multi-voltage chargers I’ve got mounted on the wall, but I can’t honestly say that I need it. Maybe I’ll wait for a sale and satiate my red addiction with the M12 vacuum for now.
