im looking into a new sander, this time I go from a ROS (which I already own) to a 1/2 sheet sander.
better to say I looked into the Bosch OS50VC. I think you will get better results on a larger area than we you
do it with ROS. I really never used one before, just watched a couple youtube vids and read reviews.
Those are supposed to be really good, ive been looking at the 1/4 sheet version and the random orbit.
ya I thought so too….even the reviews tell for itself….everyone leaves 5/5 stars for that sander
I have a Bosch random Orbital sander and have been happy with it. Looks like a good buy
I’ve been looking at a 1/4 sheet sander, nearly pulled the trigger on a Mikata or DeWalt. What is the advantage of a 1/2 sheet over a 1/4 sheet? Able to sand large flat surfaces more effectively?
BK, its just twice as big like you can assume 😛
I think you can sand quicker because your tool is bigger. for example when you sand table tops, cabinet doors etc.
What I thought. Thanks, MM.
and it has vibration control – the 1/4 sheet sander from bosch don’t has that. so that’s a nice feature right there.
when I use my bosch ROS for about 30mins or longer, my hand and joints are hurting real bad
