I just bought a saw blade from HD which was on clearance because 1 tooth is chipped off.
normal price is $35 and I bought it for $17.
I think I can live with 1 missing tooth 😀 I might use it to cut old boards to size for my fireplace
or does freud have warranty on those teeth?!
no comments? come on
I would be curious on why/how the tooth is missing? dropped? fell off? poor silver solder?
Here some pics
they had that blade without plastic wrapping in the shelf. but I looked at that blade 1 or 2 weeks ago and it didn’t have a chipped tooth at that time. I tried to buy it with a discount, but they just wanted to give me 10% . so $3.50 lol.
so now I saved 50% but got a chipped tooth, but I think its ok
you probably could go to a blade sharpening shop and get a new one put on for less than the 50% you saved….
ya I can check that out, when its not too expensive.
I never used a blade with 1 missing tooth – does it effect the cut?!
I’d be more concerned with balance.
na 1 or 2 teeth won’t effect balance but a shop can replace for a couple bucks per tooth…..
I would guess your not gonna notice as it is a general purpose 44 tooth blade,
most likely an Alternating Top Bevel- ATB
ill check it out – I have no clue where here is a shop

Well, I tend to stress about meaningless crap, so I guess I’m true to form…
Not bad. I remember buying one of these on Craigslist for $20
