I haven’t see this one here yet, but Lowe’s is offering free stand with purchase of a DWS780, my local HD was matching this deal, but this doesn’t look like its company wide as I couldn’t see it on there website
good find don – I looked it up and its true that lowes offers the free stand when you purchase the miter saw.
I think when you go to HD with a print out you will get the same deal.

I think HD will match it and then still give 10% more I’ve done this with an impact I bought a while back

I called my bro inlaw and he said they might have it cheaper after thanksgiving I think I’m gonna wait I’m pretty sure they will have that deal after thanksgiving anyway

HD wont add any other promotions to it (as I suspect it was a matching Lowes promotion and did not take the stand off automatically), I had a 10% off Lowes coupon (Lowes was out of stock on saw only had a Demo saw that they would only allow 10% off told me it was double dipping to use my movers coupon) they would not/could not match, so I just used my 10% off on Lowes site on Sunday, and it was delivered this morning! It’s like Christmas
black Friday is coming up – im pretty sure HD will have that deal for a better price on that day
I surely hope not 🙂 They did have the DWS782 slider for $399, but no stand, the stand really makes this a great package deal, I thought of other saws but if you add a stand it’s the same price as the DWS780 with free stand.
Ya the stand makes the deal to a no brainer.
Is this for the smaller stand or the bigger one. My lowes was only offering smaller one. Tool nut just posted the same sale for 19th

lowes offers the heavy duty stand with the saw (dwx723) – so I guess its the big one right, like home depot
not sure but either would be nice
how long can you expand the heavy duty stand?

This is the larger stand, got mine setup last night and it looks much larger in my living room compared to what was at HD. Can’t wait to start my trim

Went to HD today and man I got super Happy for a wuick second as I thought they had the 780 for 399$ With the stand I ran over to look and the display model and saw that it was the 780 on the stand …….buuuut I then looked at the boxes right behind it and it was the 782’s 🙁 man I was bummed
whats the difference between the 780 and 782 ?!
from what I can tell no XPS LED light. I did not put too much investigation into this, there might be some other differences to get the price down as I see them for $399 regular they are $599, I almost bought the 782 but add a stand and your at the same price.
