Specifically a Q for our new bosch sales rep.

Did Bosch discontinued that item? Can’t find it anymore here in the US

tomdog22Member since Oct 2014

yes, from what I’ve heard, it has been discontinued.

tomdog22Member since Oct 2014

no new inventory, you may be able to find a remanufactured one around.

madman_usMember since Sep 2014

yeah that what I thought – ty man

btw do you get better prices on tools 😛 ?

im looking for the CET4-20W

Yep that version has been discontinued if you want it you have to pay a ton of money for one off Ebay or a seller that might have some inventory of them. I bet Bosch will have an updated version soon the PB is the least featured jobsite radio out now.

I wonder why they pulled the plug on them? I have one, the deluxe model and it’s been great. It has a couple of quirks to it but nothing that screams yank it off the market. Scared the hell outta me once though. I powered it down with the remote, only to have it turn itself back on like 10 seconds later. Alone on a jobsite, late night listening to an away Indians game… I shut it off, walked around the corner then all of a sudden I hear talking coming from the room next to me??! Thought the crackheads were comin for my tools! I think the power box rocks, can’t wait to see what Bosch does to one-up it.

That’s the stereo I have. Wicked awesome sound. Not sure what the “C” is maybe charger? They all are built with the charger though.

madman_usMember since Sep 2014

oh I kinda missed that auction and the post – was too busy the last days

madman_usMember since Sep 2014

no clue for what the C stands for

madman_usMember since Sep 2014

most with the C are from Canada.

just recently there was one for 400 bucks with 2 batteries.

The only thing is it would suck to pay that high price for a Deluxe model and be stuck with it when Bosch releases an updated version. I know that’s how my luck would work. Bosh has some of the oldest radios on the market now.

madman_usMember since Sep 2014

ya it just sucks…both models are still available in EU tho. not gonna buy a radio yet….for that price I don’t need one lol.
