the animation they put into the video is funny

Didn’t watch the video yet, but I was just playing around with some BASH sledges at the toy store today. I want a couple…

Thor must have had a lot of bucks.

hathatylMember since Sep 2013

Ive always wanted the bigger version I have the little 2.5 lb 12 inch version. The 8 lb version is like 80$, i think they go up to 20lbs for around 200$

madman_usMember since Sep 2014

I think its worth its

Definitely could find better uses for my money. But I don’t use sledgehammers all day either.

madman_usMember since Sep 2014

you are right – there is always a better way….but when you work in demo, then I might be interesting

BK13Member since Nov 2013

In my case, depending on who I’m working for, I potentially drive a fair number of 5/8″x30″ iron rods (for property corners) and sometimes my aim ain’t the greatest….

nice if ya need striking tools, as for the extra cost……I swung a sledge a few times in my day for various reasons and a tool like this would have been nice……..

It was nice to see the Jawhorses in the video dwain posted hold up to some of the beatings as well (given that I just bought one).

RickyMcGrathMember since Oct 2014

I’m gonna order one and see if I can break it. I’m thinking the 45,000lb track-hoe can do it.

DR99Member since Nov 2012

What are they considering broken? the head coming off or just a bad bend?

NicholasShetleyMember since Nov 2013

I think anything under “normal” use. Meaning you have to break it with your own two hands. You can’t purposely break it.

comp56Member since Sep 2014

they know that, extensive testing on their part I’m sure

BK13Member since Nov 2013

Like I said, if I was setting a bunch of property corners, I’d be on that like a pack of dogs on a crippled cat…
