nice tool – how it looks like, every brushless impactor gets the quick shift feature ( Bosch calls it: Performance Control System )
I do not need another battery platform.
I do not need another battery platform.
I do not need another battery platform.
Uh oh…
This is one tool that could make me deviate from Team Red.
Just wait – your team will get that feature too 😛
Just looking a little more, I saw an article a year-and-a-half ago on toolguyd. Thought it seemed familiar.
don’t do it BK don’t do it!!! lol!
looks great, I thought they had one before
Javier that’s what I was thinking 2..
a brushless with quick shift?

Oh, I probably won’t. For $10 more I can get the Milwaukee combo kit with the hammerdrill AND the impact driver.
Not to mention not needing another damn charger.
its better to stick with one manufacturer…

If I didn’t have my Paslode nailer I would get the Dewalt framer. I don’t see Milwaukee getting in that area any time soon.
a dewalt framer – battery or air?

I hope you’re talking about cordless…
I’m pretty happy with my M12 stuff, and my lone M18 drill/driver, but I keep fondling the Bosch, Makita, and DeWalt stuff at the store, and I have a serious hankerin’ to jump into the IR IQ20v system…
ya im talking about the cordless tools – just because of batteries and charger…
IR IQ20v – what the hell is that?

Yea totally left out the cordless parts on that. I kinda space cadeted my way through that post.
im going to buy an air compressor next week – just have to wait for some more $$$….then i also go shopping form finish and brad nailer. i also wait for the review from workshopaddict for the Bosch Head Framing Nailer (full or clipped) SN350-20F or SN350-34C
attached a little list what bosch offers in air tools if someone is interested 😛

Ingersol Rand makes cordless power tools now and that’s their 18v line of tools. IR cordless tools are aimed more at auto mechanics.
oh IR = Ingersol Rand – now it makes sense 😀
there you go 😀
a dewalt framer – battery or air?. Dewalt 20v there 2 I think the brushless and brushed
In a perfect world we would only need one battery platform but in reality if you need a broad range of cordless power tools you need a healthy dose of different brands
Oddly enough, the one brand that has most bases covered from what I’ve seen is the ryobi one+ 18v line
ya Ryobi has lots of different items
perfect platform for just a homeowner
I had the 18v 18ga nailer – really nice one, but im not sure if it gonna last long
I’m pretty sure the LXDT06 has been around for over 1.5 years now, still a very top notch offering from makita.. the new one we’re waiting for here in the US is the Japanese/European model TD148D
TD148D is impressive. Very compact and light and you can really notice it’s increased speed compared to the ‘old’ TD147.
lets wait and see for the newer one

toolguyd has a news item on a new (and questionable if it’s coming to the US) IMPULSE driver from Team M. Less torque, more speed.
looks pretty interesting
Love the dewalt framing nailer20v. It is sweet, only a few times when the nail did not go all the way in, that was mor user error than anything
