Few weeks ago saw a killer deal on a m18 drill and hackzall combo kit that I couldn’t pass up. and WOW did the saw impress me! For those awkward overhead cuts this thing is tits, the only downside is the shoe is nonadjustable so you eat blades a little faster (may be just madeup in my head)
definitely a nice one-handed recip saw. how are the vibrations ?
The M18 Hackzall you have, cuts exactly the same speed as the M12 FUEL Hackzall (I have tested them both side-by-side)…..good buy!
Thanks to sum great guys on this forum I have a m12 hackzall and man I’ve been finding myself grabbing that more than my dewalt 20v sawzall its very compact and powerful just the right amount to get the job done
there is VERY little vibrations, even on onehanded overhead cuts, Almost picked up the m12 but im glad to hear it performs well!
That’s great Tyler, always wondered how that m18 hackzall was
Honestly Javier, it is a different feel then a traditional reciprocating saw that some people can’t get pass.but the lack of vibrations is outstanding!

I have the M12 Hacksaw, I use it all the time, works great, and is easy to use. I use it so much now my sawsall is getting lonley.
Saw the clearance sticker the other day at my nearest HD – $44 or so, from $179.
I ended up getting the Fuel Hackzall a few months ago and so far I am really impressed. I had the M18 Hackzall about five years ago and it was an awesome saw, the Fuel is a little bit smaller but is just as pleasing to use and the power output is really impressive. I use full size blades on it.
the m12 hackzall is a beast so I can just imagine the m18
