i need a new mitre saw any advice or sugestions would be appreciated
i am a carpenter mainly working on domestic refurbishments i am in the uk
For a miter saw I would either go with a Makita or Dewalt. Perosanlly I would go with a 12 inch sliding miter just because it makes trim a snap, but it stinks haulling it around. A 12″ compound would also be fine if your not doing trim or larger diameters.
thanks i was thinking the same but maybe an 8 1/2 inch dewalt it would be lighter
8 1/2 will be light and would make a great saw. That would cut most anything except larger boards and certain molding.
