Thank you everyone for the suggestions of what to add to my new tool box. Here are the picture of what I have so far.

Ended up choosing the Harbor freight 56″ toolbox

Randomness drawer. Also now has a iOBD Scanner, and a fluke laser distance measure.

Here is the socket drawer money shot. I got the Craftsman 299-piece socket set, and the 21 drive tool set. I am not impressed with the fit and finish. I also got a custom foam fit drawer liner. Which I absolutely love!

Pneumatic Drawer. I have since upgraded to the Husky 800 Ft/pound impact wrench. And added harbor fright die grinder and cut off tools.

Gearwrench Combo wrenches, Proto adjustable wrenches that I found in a box, Tekton stubby and Crowfeet. Also Gearwrench quad box wrenches (not Pictured)

Random hammers and pliers

Looks like a nice setup Jen. It sucks that the Craftsman sockets aren’t the best, but I don’t think anyone was close to the price you paid for that set. You can always upgrade your sockets later as needed. You can’t beat HarborFreights tool chest prices I don’t think anyone comes close when it comes to the most value for your dollar.

Conductor approved 😉

True the craftsman sockets where cheap, I think the final cost for all the sockets and drive tools was $425. And I know the guys at the local sears, and warranting is super easy. I tested that out friday when I warrantied a breaker bar and two ratchets…..Turns out ratchets and breaker bars don’t like 8ft cheater bars.

Conductor you should have conductor approved stickers, and you can send out for Conductor approved boxes and bags.

Conductor needs some “Conductor Approved” stickers and T-shirts!! The T-shirt needs to have the TIA logo and the “Conductor Approved” stamp on them 🙂

Conductor Approved……..I like it. Never realized my approval carried any meaning 😆

I wonder what else would be conductor approved?

I like how u can walk any store that carries craftsmanship and they will replace no questions asked. Got a little carried away with half inch wrench on a muffler I think. Anyway originally boughton ebay, local hardware store replaced it.

I guess I’m late to the party, but I just joined.

That’s a very nice set up you have there.

I’m intrigued by the double jointed needle nose pliers you have there.  It seems that would solve the problem of not being able to open the handles far enough on normal long reach needle noses.  What do you think of them and where did you get them?

Also, what do you think of the HF pneumatic die grinder?  I was thinking of getting one, but not sure of the quality.

Hope you get  a lot of good use from your nice tools :).

Sorry for the long response time Ive been out of town and swamped at work. Needle nose pliers are gear wrench and they work good in cramped spaces but the double action seam to decrease how tight you can squeeze. As for the HF pneumatic die grinder it works fine and you really can’t beat or expect much from the price of $10.
