Is there any news on Dewalt bringing out a cordless orbit sander ?

Nothing rumored at the moment, but tool companies are pretty tight lipped on new product releases.

Makita is the only one with a 5″ Cordless RO sander at this time, to my knowledge.

Makita and Ryobi.

That would be great idea, although I love using mine with the dust extractor. I would love if they came out with a cordless version of their planer. My cord is already rough.

unfortunately I don’t think Dewalt is any where near releasing a cordless plane, annoyingly. REP said not this year, but didn’t promise next year either…
