In the Dewalt “keep the hard cases alive” thread, I mentioned that the Fuel tools fit the old 4-tool cases.
“I recently bought some new Milwaukee tools and they fit in my old nicad circ/sawzall/drill/light box. The circ needs to be pulled/held forward and the Sawzall needs to be just perfect, but it closes.The circ slide-in guide even fits the new saw, and the charger fits perfectly. I can fit both 12v drivers in the same space as the old hammer drill with a little trimming. Now I need to get a new light and check the fit. Then make some cuts where the old hammer drill clip-on handle went and use this to put a “right angle” drill or multitool in that spot with some hook and loop tape. I test fit everything and the case is damn heavy, probably too heavy. Just adding an extra 12v drill and the 12v multitool and extra batteries really adds up the weight fast.
I’m scared to cut it up…..waiting on the yet to be announced stackable Milwaukee tool boxes. Please hurry up Milwaukee.”

That’s pretty cool. I’m almost to the point of pulling the trigger on some t stacks if I don’t hear anything soon. I saw the new Milwaukee tool box in stores its pretty cool, but I really want a modular storage system with some kind of cart.
My Nicad tools still run strong, I’m using them as backups for now.
Can you buy the new milwaukee tool box now?

The 26″ Milwaukee Work Box is supposedly out at Home Depot. June was the release month, just in time for Fathers Day sales. I don’t think you can fit both the Fuel circ and sawzall and drills it though. I haven’t seen an actual in hand review of it yet.
It would be nice to see a real review of it……Tools in Action version or a Javier version.
The tool box is out now, I saw it yesterday when I went to home depot

You can fit 4 drills in it and a sawzall with a little room to spare.. I don’t know if the circular saw would fit in the case at all.
More then that DR99 I had a bunch of tools in it yesterday! I just got it last weekend and I like it

Can you fit the circ, sawzall, multi-tool and 12 v drills?
Basically the tools from above with bit boxes and chargers?
My circ and sawzall will not fit together

I got tired. I just got the Dewalt Tough System DWST08201 (the small one). It reminds me of a pelican case that we used to use on swat for the thermal camera setup. The case is really cool and has a second storage compartment in the lid plus the air release. I’ll let all of my fellow Milwaukee guys know a little more in the next day or two I just got it Friday and dint have time to play around with it. Really solid feeling though. Too bad it says Dewalt in big yellow letters on it.
I wish milwaukee would come out with a truck box that could be more specifically designed to fit their tools. The new workbox does look good but it wont fit in my “small” truck box…thinking I’m going to have to go to a weatherguard soon.
;Dthat would b pretty cool if Milwaukee/dewalt did make truck tool boxes I would buy either one!
