Has DeWalt given up on there 36v line now?
I wish I could find the post buy Dewalt is updating the platform with 36v 2.0 and 4.0 ah batteries over in Europe. In general the 36v and the 12v lineup are not seeing a lot of active development. If you are looking at 36v tools Bosch and Makita seem to be the most active of the big brands.
No, it’s certainly not dead. I’ve posted about an update not so long ago here update to DeWALT’s 36v line
Last week I asked my DeWALT rep what’s the deal with this line and if more tools are being updated. He couldn’t really answer it, but seeing they launched a new rotary hammer and batteries that it is far from dead!
I’m curious to see what tools they develop with the 36v line the big things that seem to get the 36v treatment are circular saws and rotary hammers.
