can the Makita 8419B do Diamond Core drilling?

can anyone on the forum please tell me if the 8419B can do Coring and if so what is the maximum size core it will take?

I know most people use rotary hammers with the hammer function turned off for diamond core drilling. The only thing that might be an issue is what kind of chuck you diamond core bit uses. I can’t see why your Makita can’t handle 2″ 3″ hole it might not be recommened to do that multiple times with that drill its not built as beefy as a rotohammer.

You’ll need an adapter, but it will do just fine
