It looka pretty dam good….if i was an installer i woukd definitely pick one up. They make good use of the space and if its tough as they claim then its a nice buy…anyword on price?

ChrisKMember since Dec 2012

Hopefully they come out with a modular unit like my Systainer T Loc’s and Bosch L-boxxes. Looks like a decent box but I’m curious and God help me for saying this, that the Dewalt Tough boxes might offer more?

DR99Member since Nov 2012

Your not wrong this is nice a tool box for carrying a some tools around don’t get me wrong but its not a system like all of the other companies offer.

I really like to use of space in this box.

frankiegarcia19Member since Jan 2014

Yea the corner storage is pretty cool

Exactly my point DR. I read Toolguyds offer and they said maybe there is still more to come but I can go to HD right now, get a structural foam box by Dewalt a little cheaper. I haven’t because I don’t was a bunch of boxes laying all over the place. Not dissing Milwaukee, I bleed green then red….but I hope they don’t let us down here.

Punda1991Member since Dec 2013

That’s prob just a traveling box, I bet they have a diffrent type that stack

JavierMember since Aug 2013

I wanted stackable boxes!

Just buy one of these and throw a Milwaukee sticker on it if that’s your thing. Plenty of “corner storage” haha

OMG!!!!!! SACRILEGE!!!!!! That’s pure insanity, I would NEVER put a Milwaukee Sticker on a Dewalt box….my God in Heaven! Think of the carnage! Kinda like when Venkman wants to cross the streams in Ghost Busters. Next thing you know Zule will appear, Sigourney Weaver will be wearing see through clothes and writhing about!

regopitMember since Feb 2013

Maybe that’s why I hear strange noises come from my Tough box with my Milwaukee tools in it. I think that Milwaukee missed the boat on this one a little to late to the game.

are those stackable? If they are I’ll check them out. I don’t care who makes them Gator and I agree with Chris that I wouldn’t paint a dewalt tool red or a Milwaukee tool yellow. I was going to look at dewalt and Bosch stackable boxes but then I heard Milwaukee was coming out with a storage solution too so decided to wait. If this is it I’ll take a look at dewalt and Bosch sooner.

I like Milwaukee but I’m not a fanatic. I wouldn’t go as far as painting stuff like they did with the guys ride on mower in the tool talk show. It is cool to see it in dewalt colors but I don’t think I would go that far. Eric and Dan even said there was a Milwaukee tattoo contest, that’s just nuts!

Carroll…..CARROLLLLLLLLL….RELEASE MEEEEEEE!!! Put me in a F#%<>ing Milwaukee Modular Stackimg unit!!!!! Get me outta this Dog urine yellow box!!!!!!!

Oh wait….we still haven’t got our heads out of the sand! :(. Come on Milwaukee!! Give us what we want for Pete’s sake!

Conductor562Member since Nov 2011

This is a rare Milwaukee miss. Not going with a modular system is a huge deterrent for me. I couldn’t honestly care less about it as is. A fancy hand box is all it amounts too. Dewalt/Bosch 1 – Milwaukee 0

DR99Member since Nov 2012

I like that It’s set up for carrying a few tools but If they took what they had started and made it a modular system It would have been a home run. I get what Milwaukee is thinking a lot of guys still like to use tool bags and tool boxes, but there are people like us that really want a super organized yet portable solution. Dewalt has the best options from the t-stacks which are very reasonable to the ultra durable tough boxes. The Dewalt guys might take this and post it all over Dewalt social media pages DR99 had something positive to say about a Dewalt product.

on toolguyd Stu mentions a price of $39.97 in his write up.

DR99Member since Nov 2012

40 dollars is pretty reasonable at that price for a tool box that size if it is as durable and weatherproof as they say. Another Issue I have is it looks like you can’t fit a Drill, Impact, sawzall and circular saw, charger and some batteries, in the box. If you could have done that I wouldn’t be as harsh on it. I like some of the features and will probably get one just so I don’t have to lug so many dang blow molded cases around all the time. I think Dewalt is phasing out plastic cases for tool bags now in most of their newer kits. I kind of get it you get more usable space in a tool bag but it’s unorganized for the most part on inside the bag and out. Tool bag’s just seem to lay there you can’t stack them for the most part. I don’t know if bags are that much cheaper to make though I know the plastic dies to make the boxes is expensive but after that the costs have to be pretty low where making tool bags requires more labor.

astroboyMember since Oct 2013

This is almost perfect for me. I have a big shop with lots of tools but I like to keep my personal hand tools/drills in one place. I currently use a dewalt but this looks a bit more organized for me.

If I could keep the drill, impact, and circ saw in there, PLUS some hand tools, it would be one stop shopping for me

However I REALLY want one of these boxes to have a built in power bar

JeremyJMember since Apr 2014

Very interesting, here’s what I said on the main page..

I love the corner tool pockets and the connections for the battery charger. I bought one of those 28″ dewalt/bostitch waterproof boxes (very similar in design). I even cut slots in the lid ribbing to tie up my hand saw and 2 foot level in the lid with hook/loop tape. They sure do get heavy when filled. I was kinda hoping for a 22-24 inch toolbox that will fit through doorways/hallways more easily. Something easily tied to a hand truck. I am still looking for a box for my tool only Fuel Circ and it’s awkward dimensions.

What are the dimensions of the inside of the box?

Are they coming out with more options?

I understand there are no stackable latches, but how about little feet/notches so they can stack without falling over?

JavierMember since Aug 2013

I spotted one in the wild

TylerDamaMember since Mar 2014

What is the MSRP on that wild animal?

TylerDamaMember since Mar 2014

Nvm … didn’t read above post at first.

JavierMember since Aug 2013

it should be $40, the weird thing is that this tool box was display only with no ad or any on hand to sell, literally a tool box on a table

TylerDamaMember since Mar 2014

…strange, maybe a teaser to build up hype. Have yet to see them in the Phoenix metro area.

useport80Member since Feb 2014

i bought one on the 18th at home depot for $39.97. apparently this home depot store was abnormal cuz the two other home depots did not have them. after asking a few people, they did have them in the store, but were not going to start selling them until fathers day.

hell i might get another one just for fun. i got my brother in law to get one too lol.

i filled the box with the impact driver, drill, nonfuel sawzall, omt, 2-3 batteries and it’s probably like 50lbs now lol. plenty of room for drill bit boxes too

TylerDamaMember since Mar 2014

What area was this HD in?

DR99Member since Nov 2012

Wow they are in stock at all of the Home Depot’s near me. Didn’t expect it to be on shelves that quick!

i have about 3-4 homedepots in my area. the one in reston, virginia had the box. fairfax, virginia did not have it, merrifield, virginia did have the box. and i didn’t check the 4th.

frankiegarcia19Member since Jan 2014

Just got one here in ontario cali… Not on the shelves i had to ask for it …they got it from the very top shelf were they keep stock..i like it

JeremyJMember since Apr 2014

Here’s the new Milwaukee YouTube ad. There must be another box coming out to hold the Fuel Circ.

Gatorb888Member since Nov 2013

It doesn’t even have metal latches or a water tight seal. This box retails for less than $40 and has both those things.

I believe it has a gasket on the lid for a seal. No metal latches etc….but it does appear to be a decent box as a stand alone but for me I can’t see buying a non modular unit even though it does look like a quality box that will keep my expensive tools dry and dust free. Still feel a little deflated Milwaukee !

i would love a system like that

regopitMember since Feb 2013

they are showing up here in Baltimore

ChrisKMember since Dec 2012

You have to love the video of this huge guy dropping this work box with all of his expensive tools in it. Hey it’s rated for a 1000 drops with fifty pounds in it! Looks like this guy will need a new box in six months the way he drops the thing!!!!!!! Hahahahahaha

Conductor562Member since Nov 2011

I’m with Gator on this one. I’m not real impressed with this box. The TIA review didn’t exactly inspire confidence either.

I was expecting Milwaukee to knock it out of the park, but they decided to bunt

Punda1991Member since Dec 2013

This can’t be it, there will be a stacking storage system!

I believe so too

Punda1991Member since Dec 2013

I seriously think that they will come out with the best out of all the stackable storages! They are perfecting it lol this is just a job box for the handy man if you ask me

comp56Member since Sep 2014

Finally seen these in our local HD store……..$49.95…….

BigmikezMember since Jun 2013

What do u think of them comp?

comp56Member since Sep 2014

bigger than it looks in pics, however where I live it is pretty cold in winter months don’t know how well it would hold up to -40 but no mistake it will make someone happy….

I personally would rather have a beat up box kicking around full of my expensive tools than an eye catching box with Milwaukee sticking out like a sore thumb…….

I know thieves steal anything but they also go for shinny and things that stand out……

years ago when I was in my 20’s I bought a pretty nice alpine stereo for my truck and the salesman handed me some big Alpine stickers I could put in my back window…..I laughed and said why don’t the stickers just say “I have a nice stereo in this truck please take it”

just sayin….

BigmikezMember since Jun 2013

Lol comp very true

madman_usMember since Sep 2014

I saw the other day at HD a 13″ jobsite box with a NEW sticker on it

comp56Member since Sep 2014

these things should not be more than 20 bucks……..and if they were under they would sell more i’m sure….

BigmikezMember since Jun 2013

Agree comp.

madman_usMember since Sep 2014

that box runs around 30 bucks – def too much for that kinda box

How true is that. They will take what they know or hear about. I was working on a job some time back 5 of 6 years ago and had my trailer broken in to. They took DeWalt. Milwaukee, stuff and did not touch any of my Festool stuff.

madman_usMember since Sep 2014

maybe they didn’t know what festool is lol
