I am looking for information on cordless staple guns. I want a staple gun for putting up barbed wire and net fencing and was wondering if anyone knows if there are any cordless staple guns that would be good for this. The gun would have to fire at least 1 to 2 inch staples and the heavier the gauge of staple the better. Does dewalt in particular have any cordless staple guns that’s what brand of tool i have right now and it would be great not to have to buy a new brand of battery.
the only cordless staplers i know of are the Ryobi and Makita 18v units.
The Ryobi Airstrike narrow-crown stapler can shoot up to 1-1/2″ staples, don’t know if that’d be sufficient for barbed-wire but it should work for netting.
1-1/2″ will work fine for barbed wire
The Ryobi is a great option a friend just used it to install carpet. He didn’t want to deal with a compressor and all that bs on the small jobs he usually ends up doing.
sweet thanks for the great info!
