Bosch – 2014 Dodge Ram Giveaway

regopitMember since Feb 2013

I’ve been every day without fail and haven’t won a dam thing. It really doesn’t surprise me with my luck. It could be raining Vagina’s I would be slapped in the face with the only Dick.

woodstockvaMember since Mar 2014

No winnings…..I do however now completely run on the new EC brushless motor & I am the most powerful in my class…..

🙂 haha

DR99Member since Nov 2012

The guy that they got to do the videos is so boring. I know it takes time to develop an on camera personality, but they should have did something else like added a co host. Having a co host allows you to have that back and forth going that makes this interesting. That’s most tv shows have a co host.

ChrisKMember since Dec 2012

Nuttin’

Highdesert SplintermakerMember since May 2013

I’m slowly but surely beginning to get the distinct impression Bosch isn’t giving away a whole lot of tools.

Same here I try to remember to check in every day.

Highdesert SplintermakerMember since May 2013

Hell, I just may have to consider taking an interest in Milwaukee stuff.

DR99Member since Nov 2012

Milwaukee has crap for promotions going on right now it makes sense though as fathers day is around the corner.

Highdesert SplintermakerMember since May 2013

Well if Bosch doesn’t like me for Fathers’ Day pretty soon, I just may just have to cross blue off my shopping list.

You’d think Bosch would be giving away as much of their basic stuff as possible just to get more of us hooked on the brand and buying more tools and batteries.

JavierMember since Aug 2013

I’ve been trying like everyday and nothing, pretty soon I’ll have that guys video memorized word for word.

Highdesert SplintermakerMember since May 2013

Considering how many of us have been doing this almost daily you might think at least one of us would have won something by now. And, now I’m wondering, is this is going to keep on disappointing us until the end of June? Frankly, I’m already getting to be just a bit pissed off at Bosch for all the taunting without rewarding us with so much as a run down battery.

BrienMember since Dec 2013

I’m almost hitting it daily and every day it reminds me that I am a loser.

DR99Member since Nov 2012

Yep haven’t won a single thing either. I wonder if the site is even working right. Because they were giving out a whole bunch of accessories besides the new EC Brushless tools. No one here has gotten anything yet which by the laws of averages is pretty strange.

Highdesert SplintermakerMember since May 2013

Perhaps, since TIA’s website is providing Bosch advertising exposure to their videos, TIA should consider making an official inquiry. It might be interesting to know just how many tools they plan to give away, how many of those have already been given away, and would Bosch consider supplying a list of winners, etc.? Then an intelligent decision could be made as to whether leave Bosch’s link on or take it off the TIA website.

This was posted earlier about what exactly they are giving away and the numbers of each.

Highdesert SplintermakerMember since May 2013

Boy did I get snookered! All this time I was thinking, if you won, you’d get the tool you selected to watch the video about. Silly me!

So … Has anyone won one of those $6.99 spade bits yet?

BigmikezMember since Jun 2013

Did u win high desert???

Highdesert SplintermakerMember since May 2013

Nope! Didn’t mean to be misleading.

When I referred to ‘getting snookered’ I only meant that for some unknown reason I had made the stupid assumption that the tool you watched the video of would be your prize. That was before I saw the list of the other 700 prizes posted by DR99. But I am still trying every day I can.

Anybody on TIA win anything yet?

DR99Member since Nov 2012

Been playing pretty much every day and haven’t won anything yet not even a bit set. May be Bosch is going to give everyone Ram pickup trucks now 🙂

ChrisKMember since Dec 2012

Same here DR. Haven’t won squat. I would not complain if there was a 2014 Ram sitting in my driveway next to my 14 Tundra!!!!!

DR99Member since Nov 2012

How do you like your Tundra? I looked at one when I was truck shopping a few years ago the Tundras price as a lease was just insane compared to the Chevrolet Silverado I ended up getting. They wanted like 400 a month for a comparable truck to the Silverado which was 212 a month with tax. It was the 5.3 verses the 5.7 in the Tundra and Leather seats were the only real options it wasn’t even a 4×4 truck on the Chevy it was another 15-20 dollars if I did get a 4×4. It’s hard to beat Toyota dealers up because there are not nearly as many of them.

ChrisKMember since Dec 2012

Well everybody I know knows that I’m a Ram guy. I’ve had two and love them. My past two cruisers are Dodge Chargers. I have a 2013 Dodge Avenger SXT that Samantha drives and I bought a Tundra. I will never buy another GM and I don’t like Fords. So that being said I absolutely love my Tundra. The cab is enormous, the ride is smooth and comfortable and it falls in between a 1500 and 2500. I can tow more than anything else, I have the TRD package with the super HD suspension and the 5.7 is awesome. My Ram got better mileage about 18 average whereas I’m now getting around 16 (20 hwy).

DR99Member since Nov 2012

I don’t know I liked my 06 F-150 the things I didn’t like was the 5.4 was not the most peppy engine and it rode like a truck. The 08 Silverado had some issues but it was all under warranty and they gave me a free rental, so I can’t complain too bad. The things I didn’t like about the Chevy was the cab was tiny compared to the Ford and the interior on my trim level felt cheap, but the 5.3 was much peppier, and it rode like a country Cadillac. I have a good Chevy sales guy he’s a no bs kinda guy the price he quotes is the price he quotes. I never had luck at any of the Chrysler dealerships they always want you to come on in and take a look and run the numbers. I once looked a Jeep Grand Cherokee lease that was advertised for like 250 dollars, but that was with every obscure rebate in the book the real price was 350 dollars. Turned me off from the brand. I think the new Ram 1500 with the Diesel is a killer truck who wouldn’t want 30 mpg in a pickup!

ChrisKMember since Dec 2012

I guess it depends on your local dealership. Tri city Dodge in Somersworth NH is awesome but my fiancé is an equestrian and the tow rating on my Tundra really sealed the deal. Plus….holy smokes it’s powerful! Rides smooth, TRD plus side steps, Samantha is 5′ so it was important for to be able to get in and I can bring three friends along with me in the +6′ +220 lb size with absolute comfort and room.

Highdesert SplintermakerMember since May 2013

Anybody win anything yet?

Maybe they’re just not telling any of the winners ’till the whole thing is over, but that’s not the impression the “click here to see if you’ve won” button gives.

DR99Member since Nov 2012

I try to remember to play almost everyday, and I haven’t won even a bit set yet.

ChrisKMember since Dec 2012

Well if winning includes a notice saying you didn’t win then I am a mega winner. But if it doesn’t then I’m just a loser 🙁

Conductor562Member since Nov 2011

Conductor gave up about 2 weeks ago. I feel like enough of a loser without some Germans reminding me every day.

BrienMember since Dec 2013

I’m a loser baby… so why don’t you…

Get crazy with the cheeze whiz?

ChrisKMember since Dec 2012

Wow DR….I thought this was the tool forum, not “the other” forum I belong to!!!!! 😉

Highdesert SplintermakerMember since May 2013

One forth of June is gone already. Has anyone anywhere won anything off this Bosch giveaway?

maybe they are going to wait until the last day of June and then tell everyone who won.

I sure hope when this is all over and done with Bosch provides TIA with a li9st of the winners.

DR99Member since Nov 2012

Well its almost the end of June and I haven’t won a single bit set yet.I have been trying to play everyday but I will forget occasionally. I wonder if the website is even working properly you would think they would say thing on Facebook about people winning. The only other thing I can think of is people are going to win at the end of the promo?

DR99Member since Nov 2012

I just found out looking at the offical rules the company doing the promoton for Bosch is about 10 miles away from me. 🙂 The company running it is HelloWorld Inc.

Conductor562Member since Nov 2011

Good. Drive down there and smack them around!

ChrisKMember since Dec 2012

Wait for me! I’ll taz ’em!

JavierMember since Aug 2013

I gave up also

DR99Member since Nov 2012

I just wonder if people are winning there are supposed to 740 randomly given out prizes, and then the big prize is picked July 1’st. I know at the beginning alot of tia’ers were playing daily. I would think statistically we would get a hit on even a small prize out of all of us. The only thing I can think of is there is a bunch more people playing than we know.

JavierMember since Aug 2013

I would have been happy with just winning their new auger bits, those look cool

DR99Member since Nov 2012

I don’t mind winning a smaller prize I know we can’t win all the time.

EEtwidgetMember since Dec 2013

I doubt the Bosh giveaway.. I don’t expect to win but someone on TIA should… With all the guys on this site playing everyday, and not one winner.. Really!

I bet a friend of the guy who does payroll for the brother of Bosh VP wins the truck
