Fuel tough!

JavierMember since Aug 2013

I got the old boring one too and it’s great. I still want the new one but I don’t regret my purchase of the old one

Guess I’m gonna sell mine and buy the bare tool! 139$ isn’t bad at all! Have to wait and see it in TIAs video review

That’s answers my own question! I’m mad cause not to long ago I bought the old boring hackzall…

I got mine as a BOGO with my angle drill, so I’m not that bummed. But that might have been different if I had parted with actual money for it…

If it’s a bogo, your right can’t go wrong! Don’t get me wrong, the brushed version still kicks ass! Fuel is brushed on steroids and I love the look of them and slimmer handles for greater comfort!

I motion we make an official TIA term.

We’ll call it the “Fuel Effect” and use it to describe the phenomena of something old unjustifiably being replaced and seeming less adequate when a newer version is released.

😆

I’ll second the motion. lmao

The old versions might not fuel too good about that motion! Haha

God knows I’ve thought about it, but I still have like a year and a half left on the warranty on my combo kit. My way of thinking is that I could hoard hand tools until it runs out, then upgrade at post new release prices. I would love to get a fuel hammer drill and impact at the very least.

Punda1991Member since Dec 2013

Go bare tool refurbished if you have batteries and chargers? Cpo? I’m in Illinois and we have some nice flea markets and I get deals all the time on all tools! Specially after winter where a lot of tradesmen sell them to keep a float over winter!

BrienMember since Dec 2013

The “Fuel Effect” almost bit me. I will wait a bit longer.

Punda1991Member since Dec 2013

This is not a fuel, just showing how tough milwaukee makes em!

Conductor562Member since Nov 2011

That one looks like it’s had a rough go about it.

Punda1991Member since Dec 2013

This things been through hell and back still works like the day I bought it.

i have the milwaukee fuel m18 hammer drill impact, sawzall and circular saw and they all amaze me everyday i use them to think that the 4.0 batteries can give you that much power in a cordless tool and last the length they do is awsome saves me tripping over the countless cords running on the sites

MILWAUKEE ALL THE WAY CANT WAIT TO EXPAND MY FUEL LINEUP

also i was told by a couple of the local milwaukee reps up here in canada that in the states within the next year there will be multiple additions to the fuel line up then we will get them a short time after that. looking forward to the next 8-10 months hoping to see alot of new tools.no fair u guys get the tools first and for better prices down there in the USA lol

Did they mention anything about a cordless rivet gun?
