I need to know how many amps the brushless motor in the XR Drill Driver pulls under maximum load?
I need to power two of them in a project without batteries. It was cheaper to buy two bare drills and pull the motors
along with motor drivers from the housing then buy two brushless motors and seperate drivers from a motor manufacturer.
You would probably need to contact someone from Dewalt directly. Or possibly the guy’s over at PTI have tested it already.
Use the UWO of 360. 360W/18V=20A. 80% efficient so that’s 25A draw.
