did anyone ever pick these up? I saw them last black fri and thought these were just shelf fillers
The pliers looked pretty bulky but I base that only on my viewing the blister pack with the multi tool inside. Plus I love Leatherman. Additionally I have a SOG assisted opening multitool that I modified and really like as well as a Gerber. All of those are American made too 🙂
I got these in my stocking last year. What a disappointment. Far cry from my Leatherman.
That’s too bad. I was afraid of that. I’ve got three Leatherman tools, two of which are carried for work (one for each belt and each type of work) and a Charge AL I carry at home.
I figured they were crap the companys will throw a logo on anything during the holidays to make a sell….
ya i think too, that its a cheap fabricated item – not really from the manufacturer itself
they will probably be out this year 2..
just walk by and ignore it lol
lol its hard for me to ignore anything with that name on it lol
just wear some blinders (like those for horses) when you go into HD or Lowes haha
Right lol!
😀
Gotta get my hands on a leatherman
ya me too – something like that…small and good quality
I’m ok my lowes never seems to get anything exciting
Home Depot had them last year for Christmas, wait until January and you will be able to get them for half price. I doubt Lowe’s will have them. Locally, Home Depots have a selection of some DeWalt power tools and some of the hand tools (no mechanics tools) and Lowes has a bigger selection (in my opinion) of power tools and accessories, but no hand tools.
It might make a good stocking stuffer, the plus side is you will notice it if you lay it down. I don’t usually carry a multitool, but when I did I preferred the SOGs over both Gerber and Leatherman. I like the gear action over the sliding handle/jaws.
I haven’t checked out the SOGs yet
