What is the difference between the C2 and D2?

Only the battery that comes in the kit. The C2 has the black top 1.5 Batteries, the D2 has the newer yellow top 2.0 batteries

Thanks for the reply. Any retail stores like Lowes or Home Depot carrying the D2 model yet?
