XR battery in a non XR tool

hello.

i bought 4 XR 4.0amp hour battery to use it on: DCF895 – DCD985 – DCD785.

this battery will work on that tools right? or they are not compatible?

Yes they will work with all those. 1.5, 2.0, 3.0, 4.0 Amp all work in the XR line.

All 4 of the 20v batteries are compatible in all of the tools.

the batteries comes last week the performance is very awesome.

i feel like dcd 785 have a lot of power now.

Shouldn’t have any more power, just more ‘gas in the tank’.
