What are the usual problems with a DEAD DC 385 reciprocating saw ?

Hi ALL!

My cordless DC 385 Reciprocating saw is dead……most of the time !

If you slap it towards the top it might start up again. So is it the brushes OR switch ?

And how easy is it to fix whatever ?

How are your battery contacts? Look inside the handle where the battery plugs in.

Just cleaned and pinched contacts….NOT the problem. How do you replace brushes ??
