Ok, it seems that my spindle is bent or the chuck is. Has anyone else had this issue? Was it the spindle or a bad chuck? I see that I can get new spindles/clutch units pretty cheaply. Chucks actually seem more expensive.

remove the chuck and run the drill, if the spindle wobbles, then it is the spindle. if not, the chuck.
