I’m looking at buying this drill and read the manual online stating that the ” recommended self feed size is 2 9/16. Has anyone tried or does anyone know if this drill can drill a 3 5/8″ hole using a self feed bit
Doubt it. In some woods it fails at 2 9/16. Maybe through an ijoist flange but not a floor. If you’re running 3″ pipe you need something else.
K great thanks so much couldn’t find a definite answer on that and people in stores these days have no clue. Well than that settles it it was either that drill or the dwd460k. Wanted that one anyways be way more of a eye catcher on he job site just had to justify the cost thanks again.
