I tried to replace the type 1 guard with a type 27 guard for the 4 1/2 inch cutoff tool and encountered a challenge. The guard just won’t come off. Is there any trick to do this? Appreciate it if someone can shed some light on this. Thank you.
Open the latch all the way, rotate the entire guard around the tool 180*, and pull it strait down.
