When the brushless impact came out with the large battery I bought it without hesitation.  I was really jazzed about the brushless feature being extended to the drills and other impact driver, was ready to reach for my wallet, but then saw that they come only with the 2.0 AH batteries.  What is the chance of seeing combo kits offered with the higher capacity batteries?  Soon I hope.

The Brushless combo kits with the drill and impact will only be offered with 2.0 Ah packs because the drill is considered a “compact drill”. The impact drivers will both be offered alone with either a 2.0 Ah or 4.0 option.

Build your own kit by buying the impact driver with the 4 amp hour batteries, and add a bare drill.
