Will the DC9098 batteries from my drill work (reasonably well) in a DW059b impact wrench?
Yes. That is the same battery that comes kitted with the 059.
Thanks for the reply. Looking at various ads on the net I was under the impression that it came with the DC9096XRP. Is that an optional high capacity battery?
Sorry, just saw that you had written dc9098! I thought you had said 9096. Yes, the 9098 will work the same as far as operation goes, but you do have significantly less “gas in the tank”.
