Hey guys, just picked one up and when powered up and dialed down, the laser head spins “notchy” as in it kinda starts and slows down then speeds up again. When at max speed, there is a rubbing noise. Not sure if this is normal or if it is supposed to spin smooth, even at low speeds. Please let me know if anyone has had any experience with this. Thanks!

Sorry, I do not have a laser currently as one of my Demo tools to test this for you. I’d call a service center, they may have one they can compare yours too.
I have the 079, and the only similar thing that I can speak to is when it is self leveling, it will spin “jumpy” while it levels. Is your laser possibly set up on too un-level of a location? Other that that, I suggest taking it to a service center.
