Hi I just got the DW745 table saw Type II. The riving knife states the following:
– min. kerf width is 0.094″ or 2.4mm
– max body (plate) thickness is 0.067″ or 1.75mm
I have been shopping around for a better blade for this saw like a 50T combination blade and there are no blades that meet the aforementioned spec. In most cases, and even for the thin-kerf blades, the plate or body of the blade is too thick. Is this the recommended spec or am I missing something here????
I should not have to go out and purchase an aftermarket riving knife
