I noticed the 1/2″ Impacts are rated lower than Milwaukee is how they are rated or is the milwaukee just stronger?

Depends on the impact model. Milwaukee does measure torque differently though.

For example DCF889B rated 300 vs 2663-22 rated 450. does Milwaukee rate it max tq? Don’t get me wrong I have the 3/8″ 20 max impact and I am very impressed. But I’m a mechanic and the extra 150 ft lbs would be useful any thoughts/insight is greatly appreciated.

What happened.. It launched the same time as the 3/8 and the bruahless at disney?
