Hi,
I want to paint some of my cabinets, etc.. in my shop in “Dewalt yellow” color
does anybody know the color specification ? (please don´t answer yellow !)
I would like to get the paint/ color mixed at Home Depot or Lowes
In Europe colors are defined in RAL code;
thx
mike
The yellow from the plastic housings is ES283 “Deep Yellow”. The black is ES0006 “Black”.
just talked to Dewalt product management
The Dewalt yellow color = RAL1003
RAL is color code norm in Europe; with this code any paint shop should be able to mix that color;
but since it is a “standard color” I just checked Ebay Germany;
the spraypaint is standard and hundreds of listings for that item
of course there is always the option
flat
glossy
etc.
I’ll post some pictures of my cabinets, etc…
greetings
What about an American paint code. Same?
Hello Midogrumpy,
Have you finished up your cabinet project? I would like to see some pics of what you have done. I am in the process of repurposing my old kitchen cabinets into a workbench / storage / miter-saw workcenter and I was considering painting the cabinets in Dewalt colors as well. I would like to see how yours turned out before i get to far into this. I have no vision when it comes to design. ;D
