ive seen a couple versions of dewalts dw3232pt 80 tooth precision trim blade. i got mine at lowes and its been great. i was just there this afternoon and saw that the blade looks a little different… what is the difference? which one is newer/older?
i have this one”[External image (ecx.images-amazon.com), not copied]
lowes now has this one [External image (ecx.images-amazon.com), not copied]
both are dw3232pt
i think the only difference is the laser-cuts on the blade, which help reduce deflection i believe.
the second blade is the more recent version.
the second one deffinetly has a different hook angle from the looks of it in the store
I think the first one , the one I have now is the newer design. I looked at it again and the 2nd one / older one the pakaging is faded and dusty. I also noticed it has a negative hook angle unlike mine with a +7* hook
I think the only difference is, the first one looks different as compared to another one. Not an internal difference it means functions must be same. ๐ ๐ ๐
