I just bought a brand new DCK 275L drill/driver kit i get home and plug in the charger and throw a battery on it, and it starts flashing replace pack so i try the other battery some thing. I tried removing and replacing like 20 times and it just flashes indicating replace battery. Whats going on? Should i just return this? This is my first dewalt purchase and this might just make me go back to Milwaukee……
Exchange it. If a product sat on the shelf to long before purchase the Li-ion batteries may have become so discharged that the damage is irreversible. It’s a lithium issue, not a Dewalt issue.

Exactly, that is why they changed the software to ship packs in sleep mode so it will prevent self discharge on the cell
