What does the Tune-Up feature on the charger do?
The TUNE-UP® feature on Dewalt chargers work to optimize the performance and life of your battery. For optimum performance, leave the battery pack in the charger for 6 hours or more once every 10-20 recharges. This balances the cells , keeps the pack at peak performance and extends the usable life of the pack.
