I have a dc618 nail gun that will not sink a nail even with a well charged battery.

It worked great for over a year and I use it every day.  ANY HELP?

Check the depth settings on the nail gun……..

Thank you for your response.  The depth gauge is fine if you put 2 1/2 nails in the gun it will only set the nail less then 3/4 inch in and then I have to release the nose of the gun.  If I fire the gun with no nails in slide you can see the drive pin mark on the wood. If I use 1 1/4 nail one out of maybe five nails will sink.

                    Thank you

Sound like it needs to be serviced there is a steel profile in the nailer that will wear out over time and needs to be replaced.

Hi what do you mean by steel profile? Are you talking about the firing pin? Or the flywheel grooves? Can you be mode specific with part numbes and part names?

Thanks
