Yes would be nice to see this again. Doesn’t have to be anything fancy in terms of editing or whatever. You could even invite other tool YouTubers to make things more interesting. Dan and Eric vs ToolTuber A and ToolTuber B

That’s a good idea also. I brought it up Dan and something we would like to get back into just for fun.

The term “Friday Night Tool Fight!” refers to a video series, probably produced by Tools In Action and associated channels, in which power tools from various brands are put to the test and their features and performance compared to one another. With an emphasis on practical tests including runtime, accuracy, and power, the series compares cordless jigsaws, cordless drills, multi-tools, and cordless nailers.

Here’s what a “Friday Night Tool Fight!” video typically involves:

  • Tool Comparison:
The series pits similar tools from different brands, such as Milwaukee, DeWalt, Bosch, and Metabo, against each other Read here.
  • Performance Tests:
Practical tests are performed to evaluate the tools’ capabilities. For example, a jigsaw fight might involve cutting through wood, and a drill fight might involve drilling holes.
  • Feature Analysis:
Beyond raw performance, the videos also discuss specific features like battery life, ergonomics, accessory change systems, and digital displays.
  • Recommendations:
At the end of the comparison, the presenters often share their preferences and recommend which tool is best overall or for specific applications.
  • Channel Focus:
These videos aim to help consumers make informed decisions when purchasing power tools by providing detailed, unbiased (within the context of the test) reviews and comparisons.
