The machine can only be started when one of the user’s hands is on the machine and the other on the auxiliary handle. The additional handle of the Protago is permanently installed on the machine and cannot be removed. This makes one-handed operation impossible. The auxiliary handle can be locked in six positions, ensuring ease of use and flexibility. In addition, the protective hood is permanently mounted and cannot be removed, which permanently protects users from flying fragments. The Protago is also equipped with a soft start, which ensures a smooth and safe start-up of the machine. When the machine is switched off, the rotating disc is slowed down in seconds by the quick stop function.
