I want to get the drill and they both read the same to me.

I might be wrong but based on a simple Google search it seems they are both the same identical drill 1660-6.

Except the 1660-8 is the model # of the refurbished version of the same drill

I think the number 8 is Milwaukee’s code for refurbished

Javier has it. -8’s are refurbs.

I have no problem buying refurb electric tools. You have to be careful with cordless though as sometimes you get previous gen batteries, etc.

Warranty is limited to 1 year on refurbs too.
